Service Description

With my Birthing Guidance, I offer unwavering support to you before, during and after birth. I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and step in with anything you might need. Once you arrive at the hospital/birth center as your doula I will meet you there. I will make use of various time-tested techniques to enhance your labor and minimize your pain. I offer and make suggestions as labor progresses and help with relaxation, light massage, positioning and reiki techniques for comfort. As your doula I will also encourage position changes and movements conducive to labor to help the baby rotate & descend. I will educate, encourage, and provide emotional support to your partner and family so that they may participate at their comfort level and according to your wishes. I will provide an experienced and objective viewpoint and will help you obtain information that you need to make informed decisions.
